We may collect personal information from you including your name, address, telephone number and email address, when you knowingly provide us with information such as when you visit our Website and register your needs, attend at or enquire about properties we have for sale or for lease, engage LJ Hooker Finance for the purpose of obtaining finance, enter into a competition or promotion, transact through our franchisees, participate in a survey including ‘after sales service’ follow-up, or apply to become a franchise operator.
In addition to the above, further information will be required to enable us to assess the suitability and eligibility for obtaining a home loan, personal loan, commercial loan and other types of finance or for the provisions of other services. This will include occupation and financial information regarding your income and expenditure, Assets and Liabilities statements and specific requirements and objectives about your financial goals. We are required to collect this information in order to complete an application for finance. If you do not provide all of the required information, an application may not be considered for approval.
If you supply to us personal information about another person, you represent that you are authorised to do so and agree that you have obtained consent from that person for us to use and disclose their personal information and that they may access any personal information we hold about them.
USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

• Some of the information on your application form is provided to one of our mortgage aggregators in order to administer the commission payable by the lender.

OVERSEAS DISCLOSURE
LJ Hooker conducts its business overseas and has overseas offices. In making disclosure of personal information to third parties outside Australia, LJ Hooker will at all times comply with the Privacy Act 1988 and the National Privacy Principles and LJ Hooker will ensure that:
• the third party is subject to a scheme, law or contract that upholds principles of fair dealing of the information; or
• you consent to the disclosure of your personal information or disclosure is required by a contract in which you are involved; or
